Bar Pressure to Liquid Helium Volume

“Volume of the tank is 270 litres each, which sums up as 1080 litres of gas when the pressure is 1 bar. 1080 litres of gas equals about 1.35 litres of liquid, so every time you add a bar pressure into the tanks, your overall liquid sum rises by those 1.35 litres.”

“Each bar multiplies the amount of gas. 1 litre of liquid helium makes about 800 litres of gas at room temperature.”

"One cylinder of 160 bar is about 10 litres of LHe. User manual gives you the % to litres of Dewar, but if you were at 20% (?) in supine position before starting to refill yesterday, it is about 20 litres in Dewar and you would normally want to be about 55% => 45 litres, so the refill need is about 25 litres => 2.5 cylinders of He (160 bar/50 litres)."

IHR “Follow application log” also lists helium volume in tanks and Dewar.
